Indoor Driving competitions are held throughout the winter and spring, leading up to the National Indoor Championships held at Keysoe in April.  To see what competitions are happening in your area log on to the Indoor Horse Driving Company’s website and go to their events page.  Indoor events are a great way to become familiar with the sport of carriage driving or bring on a new turnout.  Young drivers are very welcome.  Drivers with disabilities can also compete against other non-impaired drivers - and often beat them!
Try Driving Days
Try Driving Sessions are available at Bennington Carriages, Newark and at the Chariots of Fire Driving Centre, Lockerbie.  This is an ideal way of finding out if driving could be the sport for you.  Come and try it out in a safe environment, and be taught by the best.

For further info go to www.bennington.co.uk or www.chariots.org.uk.

Pics of past sessions are in our photo album and on the Bennington Carriages Gallery.  You can watch a short videoclip which will give you an idea of what happens at these sessions by clicking here.  For info on driving events in your local area contact your local Club or check out the BHDTA or BDS websites.
